Chevron is giving back to New Mexico schools.
The oil company presented a donation of $100,000 to the Hobbs School Board.
Superintendent T.J Parks says it's just one way Chevron is giving back to the community after the recent oil boom.
He says the money will go towards a Discovery Education program for Heizer Middle School and field trips across the district.
